Djoox Studio is an independent mobile game studio based in France. We make free games for Android and iPhone, built for the fun of playing, translated from launch day and respectful of both your time and your data. Here's who we are, what we do and what's coming next. For an overview, visit the studio's home page.
Why an independent mobile game studio?
Your phone is the console everyone carries in their pocket. Yet many mobile games feel the same: ads that cut into your game, purchases that become mandatory to progress, pushy notifications. We created Djoox Studio to do things differently, as a small team making the games we love to play.
Our principles
Four rules guide every one of our games:
- Short sessions. A game takes just a few minutes: on your commute, during a break or before bed.
- Free, with no tricks. Our games are free. Ads never interrupt a game and in-app purchases always stay optional.
- In your language. Our games launch translated from day one, in up to eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese and Chinese.
- Your data, respected. Our servers are in Europe. No account needed to start, and you can delete yours from inside the game.
Our first game: Zertyzzle, the crystal merge puzzle game
Zertyzzle is our first game. Slide a row or a column, line up three identical crystals and watch them merge into a more powerful one. 120 levels across 12 nebulae, duels with friends, teams and a new league every week. To get started, read our tips to beat the hardest levels.
A community, not just players
We want to build our games together with the people who play them. The Djoox Studio forum has a section for each game, in each of the eight languages: tips, questions, ideas, bug reports. We read it, and your feedback shapes our updates.
What's next
More games are in the works. They'll be announced on this blog, on the website and on the forum. A question, an idea or a partnership proposal? Write to us at contact@djoox.com.
